The video version of Babbie's House on the radio. I think I enjoy interviewing better than being interviewed. I did not know in advance the questions she would ask. They should have put me on the other side of Babbie, or I should have put the iPad in front of me instead of on the … Continue reading BABBIE’S HOUSE WITH TEENA MYERS

THE FORGOTTEN
I returned from a five-day trip to a writer’s conference and sorted the phone interviews we needed to make for Christian Mix 106. Then turned my attention to my next project. A radio interview with a well-known musician who supports independent artists. I completed the information they required before I left for the conference. All … Continue reading THE FORGOTTEN
THE WRITER’S RETREAT
I initially registered for a writer’s retreat because a friend from Christian Mix 106 and some members from Southern Christian Writers wanted me to go with them. If I can review and approve by Friday, January 27th, Faith’s Mystery will be available for sale by February 1, 2023.
EDITORS
I had learned much about publishing before starting Southern Christian Writers, but it had been years since I had a manuscript published. If I was going to lead writers, all of them pursuing independent publishing, it was time to publish again.
MY PLACE
Before we left to try another church, the Pastor’s sister made a request that led to us staying. “Can you start a writer’s group on the Westbank?”
CHANGE MY HEART
We had the same circular dead-end discussion about leaving. I told him I would not return, but I would not attend a different church either. I stayed home Sunday mornings, and worshipped God alone praying he would change my heart or change Rod’s.

I was writing a series called “First Time Guest.” When my husband worked on Sundays, I visited … Continue reading A NEW PATH
